Historic Seafield House, nestled on the shores of Portree Bay, on the majestic and beautiful Isle of Skye, is a substantial Georgian House dating from the 1830?s. Skye, (An t-Eilean Sgitheanach in Gaelic), is dominated by its Cuillin mountain range, and is renowned throughout the world for its outstanding natural beauty, history and quality of light. As such it is visited by many artists, naturalists, climbers and walkers as well as visitors simply wanting to experience the magic of “The Island”.
Skye is linked to the mainland by a spectacular road bridge which gives quick and easy access to Portree the island capital.
Saefield House, which sleeps up to 10 people, is ideally located for exploring this magical island. Indeed, some spectacular views are only yards away! The photographs to the left were taken from the shoreline just below Seafield House.
